Common Questions

Can you block access to cash?

Watch Video

Yes. We can block the withdrawal of cash in multiple ways. The most common is to block ATM withdrawals or deny any transaction that includes a “cashback” request.

Can you block P2P apps like Zelle, Cash App, and Venmo?

Yes. Blocking popular peer-to-peer (P2P) payment applications protects individuals from online social engineering scams.

Can’t a person trade the card?

Yes, but … pawn shops can not call and automatically check the balance on a card. This inability to verify a card’s balance from a trusted source makes it undesirable for trades.

What if there is fraud on the card?

Individuals are protected under consumer regulations requiring us to replace funds while investigating suspected fraud. We assume this liability and will provide individuals with a provisional credit.
